fischer Supplies Steel and Chemical Products for Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower

fischer is supplying steel and chemical products for Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower, a landmark project expected to exceed one kilometre in height and become the world’s tallest building upon completion in 2028.

Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah Tower, designed to rise more than one kilometre into the sky and become the world’s tallest building, is taking shape with engineering solutions from German fastening specialist fischer. The company is supplying steel and chemical products for the landmark project and overseeing construction-related activities, with its experts supporting the project through completion.

Scheduled to be completed in 2028, Jeddah Tower represents a major construction undertaking in a city that has transformed from a modest port into a vibrant metropolis over the past five decades. Jeddah brings together tradition and technology, historic trade routes and modern business, positioning the tower as a defining landmark in a region undergoing significant transformation.

The project, which is expected to cost more than one and a half billion euros, is being developed close to the Red Sea. Once completed, the tower will exceed existing human-made structures in height, establishing a new benchmark in skyscraper construction.

The fischer Group of Companies, based in Germany’s northern Black Forest region, is contributing steel and chemical products to the project. Its specialists are also present on site and will continue working alongside the teams involved in construction until the project is successfully completed. The company’s fastening solutions are intended to provide the strength, reliability and precision required for a structure of this scale.

Mayank Kalra, Managing Director, fischer India, said the project demonstrated the confidence placed in the company’s solutions for demanding construction projects worldwide. He also highlighted its significance for the company’s operations and commitment to customers in India.

“Jeddah Tower is a landmark achievement that reflects the trust placed in fischer solutions for the world’s most demanding construction projects. Being part of the world’s tallest building is a proud moment for the fischer Group and reinforces our commitment to delivering global engineering excellence and proven reliability to customers in India,” Kalra said.
